Sunderland’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace on Monday was the Black Cats’ first win since beating Stoke at the start of October. They have won two of their last six league games and have picked up 11 points from their 10 league games so far this season.

Everton have picked up as many points as Sunderland over the last six league games, having won two, drawn two and lost two. The Toffees have scored in all but one league game this season, Hull being the only team to keep them out.

Roberto Martinesz's side are four points from the relegation zone and four points from a Europa League spot, and will be seeking to move a step in the right direction over the weekend. Sunderland will hope to pull away from the relegation zone.
