Managerless Queens Park Rangers travel to the Stadium of Light on Tuesday evening second bottom of the Premier League and having lost all 11 of their away games this season.

A late winner from Sadio Mane of Southampton on Saturday consigned Rangers to their fourth consecutive Premier League defeat in their first outing since Harry Redknapp resigned last Tuesday. Academy coach Chris Ramsey has been put in charge as interim manager as the search for a new boss continues.

Sunderland sit five points ahead of the visitors and new signing Jermaine Defoe has scored twice in the Premier League since his January arrival, including a strike in the 1-1 draw against Swansea on Saturday.

However, the Black Cats are only four points away from the relegation zone and a defeat on Tuesday would cut the gap between the sides to two points.
