PSV anger over United's Van Nistelrooy move
PSV Eindhoven chairman Harry van Raay will resist attempts by Manchester United to revive their bid for striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.
PSV Eindhoven chairman Harry van Raay will resist attempts by Manchester United to revive their bid for striker Ruud van Nistelrooy.
United boss Alex Ferguson yesterday declared his intention to invite van Nistelrooy to Old Trafford in October for a trial to give the club a chance to evaluate the Dutch forward's rehabilitation following his serious knee injury in April.
United called off his £18.5million move to England because of concerns about his knee after he suffered a freak training ground accident and ruptured knee ligaments.
"We shall not co-operate," van Raay said. "Van Nistelrooy's rest is being disturbed due to Ferguson's handling of the situation."
