QPR took themselves off the bottom of the Premier League with a 2-0 win over Aston Villa.

Charlie Austin scored both goals for the home side in a match that will provide great relief to Harry Redknapp.

The QPR manager has been under increasing pressure but three points always makes situations look much better.

Redknapp can thank Austin, who collected his first with a fine drive from a Bobby Zamora knockdown.

The second came after an error from Aston Villa midfielder Carlos Sánchez.

Aston Villa have now gone five games without a goal and never really looked likely to end that run at Loftus Road, despite having Christian Benteke back in the side.

Here, we take a look at those that shone and those who were to blame.
