Spurs and Arsenal will issue a joint statement to fans ahead of Emmanuel Adebayor's first match at the Emirates Stadium since returning to north London.

The 27-year-old Spurs striker, who spent more than three years at Tottenham's rivals, has had abusive chants aimed at him in past fixtures between the clubs, who will put the message on their official websites, asking for a focus on positive chanting towards their own teams on Sunday.
