Three ninth-placed Premier League finishes in three seasons.

That's Mark Hughes' record since taking over at Stoke City and you would not bet against another mid-table finish this year. If anything, it's consistent.

However, as those finishes prove, the same cannot be said for their performances.

The Potters are among the best-placed of the 'middle order' sides to kick on and seriously challenge for a European place, but whether they do or do not will depend on whether they can kick that incosistent streak.

Here are some of the highlights from Stoke’s fixture list to look out for:

First game

Stoke City will face Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium on the 13 August 2016.

Last game

Stoke City will play against Southampton at St Mary's on the 21 May 2017.
