Stoke midfielder Charlie Adam is set to miss tomorrow's Barclays Premier League clash with Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
Adam has been granted compassionate leave by the Potters following the death of his father this week.
Defender Ryan Shotton is available for selection again having completed a one-match suspension, but it is expected the Spurs game will come too soon for striker Michael Owen to make his first-team return after his recent injury problems.
