Mauricio Pochettino labels Tottenham players 'superheroes' after win over Ajax

It has been a memorable season for Tottenham Hotspur.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team were in title contention back in January, only for a dismal run of one draw and four defeats throughout February and March to see them sucked back into the battle for the top four.

The club’s Premier League form never truly recovered – although they secured their place in next season’s Champions League with a final day draw against Everton.

But it is for their exploits in Europe that this Tottenham season will live long in the memory. They began their campaign with just one point from their first three games, but reached the knockout stages thanks to a draw in Barcelona before historic victories over Borussia Dortmund, Manchester City and Ajax saw them reach next month’s Champions League final in Madrid.

Here is how we have rated every one of their players for the 2018/19 season.
