Arsenal's goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has claimed that Tottenham "do not have enough quality" to finish in the top four of the Premier League and qualify for next season's Champions League in an interview broadcast on the Arsenal website, remarkably, given the conservatism of the club's in-house media.

"I was convinced that Tottenham had drawn 0-0 against Southampton, I only found out after the game that they had won, but I don't think it matters," Szczesny said. "If we win our next two games it will be enough because either Chelsea or Spurs will drop points because they play each other [tomorrow].

"Chelsea have Tottenham and Everton left and they won't be easy games. And Tottenham do not have enough quality, so there you go..."

Spurs' manager, Andre Villas-Boas, has admitted that he has changed aspects of his managerial style "dramatically" since being sacked by Chelsea last year, as he prepares to return to the club for the first time in his new role. "I learned a great lesson from last year," he said. "There are things I do dramatically different and things that I do the same because you have to stay true to your principles. The Chelsea experience helped me address the mistakes I made; that always allows you to develop."
