With just a few weeks to go to the end of the season, you would have thought a tie between Spurs and Manchester City would be a must-see affair, with both teams challenging for either the title or a Champions League spot.
Sports writer Tom Collomosse argues that had Manchester City dropped points last week against Aston Villa, with Spurs overcoming Southampton at St Mary's, then there would only be four points between these two teams. However, with results not going that way, there are nine points separating second from sixth place.
Still, with Liverpool dropping points against Hull City in the week, Spurs are neck-and-neck with Brendan Rodgers' men and have a strong chance of making it into the Europa League. Of course, the question is, is that what Tottenham wants?
