Jurgen Klopp's first half of football as Liverpool manager may have finished goalless but that did not stop a love-in breaking out among the club's supporters on Twitter.

The charismatic German coach, making his Premier League bow against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane, was his usual demonstrative self on the touchline, living and breathing every moment of his team's attacks.

Liverpool's best chance of the half fell to Divock Origi, who started the game in place of the injured Daniel Sturridge.

He struck the bar with a header early on and could possibly have converted the rebound only for Tottenham's defence to get to the ball first and clear.

Klopp could barely contain himself on the touchline as Origi bared down on goal and his reaction amused many on social media.

Imagine how he'll react when they actually score...
