Harry Kane revealed that his favourite goal of his record-breaking 2017 did not come in a north London derby, nor in the Champions League, but in the romantic surroundings of West Yorkshire.
The England centre-forward broke Alan Shearer's record for Premier League goals in a calendar year when he opened the scoring against Southampton.
And his second goal of the day took him past Lionel Messi to become Europe's top scorer in 2017 - the first player to do so since 2009 that wasn't Messi or the Argentine's eternal rival, Cristiano Ronaldo.

His third, a cheeky left-footed dink over Fraser Forster also featured among Kane's 2017 favourites as it secured him a year-closing perfect hat-trick.
But when asked about the best, the 24-year-old striker harked back to a goal scored at Huddersfield's John Smith's stadium:
"I liked the one against Huddersfield... outside the box on my left foot," said Kane.
"The one against Burnley I think summed up how I play, winning the ball back with a tackle and then scoring. I like the third one today too."
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has long championed Kane as one of the best players in the world and was delighted to see him break Shearer's record.
"I think I've said everything (about Kane). The last nine or 10 years it's been Cristiano Ronaldo (the best in the world) and today it's Harry Kane. I'm so happy to congratulate him and all of the team, well done.
"It doesn't surprise us because every day we see how he works, his determination, how professional he is, and that can only be good for him. He's a very talented player.
"He's a great professional and a good example for everybody, not just his goals."
Reflecting on the calendar year, Pochettino added: "We are so ambitious but I am so happy. We have finished this year in a very good way and I hope next year we can win more."
