Everton have agreed a £1.5m fee with Liverpool for the French full-back, who will complete a medical and is set to be confirmed as manager David Moyes' latest signing today.

The deal is not expected to go through in time for the 24-year-old to make his debut in the bank holiday fixtures this weekend.

Traoré, who joined Liverpool from French side Laval for £500,000 in 1999, is awaiting international clearance before undergoing tomorrow's medical at Everton's training ground.

The former under-18 international, who can play at left-back or in central defence, has made 75 appearances for Liverpool, scoring once, and spent the 2002/03 season on loan at Lens.

"At the moment we're just waiting for clearance that everything's done and hopefully he'll have a medical later today," the Everton manager David Moyes told the club's website.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have agreed a fee with Anderlecht for South Korea striker Ki-Hyeon Seol.

The 25-year-old was at Molineux yesterday undergoing a medical after the Championship club agreed to pay the transfer fee stipulated in Seol's contract, believed to be £1.1m.

A statement on the Belgian club's website read: "The South Korean international had a clause in his contract which stated that he could leave Anderlecht early if an interested club was willing to pay the transfer fee that had been laid down in the contract."

Wolves manager Dave Jones was travelling to Sheffield this afternoon to attend a work permit hearing for the striker, who played in all six of his country's World Cup games in 2002 as the co-hosts reached the semi-finals.

Seol's arrival would help to alleviate the club's personnel crisis which has seen Carl Cort, Vio Ganea, George Ndah and Dean Sturridge ruled out through injury, although the latter could be fit to return against his former club Leicester at Molineux tomorrow following a hamstring problem. Kenny Miller is the club's only other fit striker.
