West Ham boss David Moyes believes he could manage any team in the world

David Moyes has backed himself to manage any team in the world – and wants to prove it at West Ham.
The Scot was appointed as Slaven Bilic’s successor last month after the Croat was sacked following a woeful run of results which had seen the side drop into the relegation zone.
Since taking over, Moyes has seen the team move out of the bottom three, having recorded notable wins against Chelsea and Stoke in recent weeks.
Ahead of West Ham’s League Cup quarter-final against Arsenal on Tuesday, Moyes said: "I think I'm capable of doing the job at any club in the world so I'm sure I can do it at West Ham.
"I have to come here and show I can do it. You have to come and show what you can do. Your reputation doesn't stand for anything.
"You have to come here and try to get up and show you're capable of doing the job."
After unsuccessful spells at Manchester United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland, Moyes has the chance to restore his reputation with West Ham where he has started to win over the club’s initially hesitant fans.
His most successful spell as a manager came during his 11-year stint at Everton, between 2002 and 2013, where he was named LMA Manager of the Year on three separate occasions.
