West Ham will host London rivals Crystal Palace tonight with a chance to climb into the Premier League’s top four.

The Hammers sit just three points outside the Champions League spots, while Palace are three points behind in 12th.

West Ham also have won four of their last five matches and are in a very strong position heading into this first round of weekday Premier League matches.

However, Palace have recently been on fine form, scoring five in their biggest top flight away win in their history two weeks ago against West Brom.

What is the team news?

David Moyes has no fresh injury problems going into this match against Palace, although Michail Antonio and Arthur Masuaku remain sidelined.

This leaves West Ham with plenty of options, with Manuel Lanzini, Ryan Fredericks, Mark Noble and Robert Snodgrass all vying for a place in the starting XI.

Palace also have no real injury concerns, with only Mamadou Sakho a doubt having rarely featured this season.

Roy Hodgson seems to have found the perfect match up with Luka Milivojevic and Christian Benteke.

Benteke has offered a natural focal point to Palace’s attack since being reintroduced into the side in the last two games. The striker even scored two rare goals in the clubs 5-1 route away at West Brom. He has held the ball up well and provided a platform for flair players such as Wilfried Zaha and Eberechi Eze, who will challenge West Ham’s back line.

Jordan Ayew has scored four Premier League goals against West Ham, including the winning goal in both games last season, which may could be factored in by Hodgson.
