Chelsea are 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League and within touching distance of the title - but just how soon can they win it?

This weekend's game against Arsenal - the team in second place - will be pivotal in determining when Jose Mourinho's side will be crowned (assuming they don't completely capitulate between now and the end of the season).

The Gunners are in a position to amass the most points of those chasing Chelsea, and if they won every single game, would end the season on 84 points. That means Chelsea would need a further nine points to reach 85 and make the title a mathematical certainty.

However, that Chelsea and Arsenal meet at the Emirates on Sunday skews the possible outcomes.

If Chelsea beat Arsenal

A win at the Emirates for the Blues - and defeat for Arsenal - would cut the total points Chelsea need to 82 points. Victory on Sunday would put them on 79, meaning they need just one more win. Their next game after their trip to the Emirates is away against Leicester, meaning they can win the title at the King Power stadium on Wednesday 29 April. They match against the relegation threatened Foxes is at 7.45pm - the only Premier League match of the evening.

If Chelsea lose to Arsenal

If Chelsea lost to the Gunners this weekend, they would then still need to amass nine points after that (on the basis that Arsenal don't drop any). If they beat Leicester and then Crystal Palace on Sunday 3 May, they could win the title when they meet Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday 10 May.

If Chelsea and Arsenal draw

A draw would put Chelsea's target at 83 points (again, on the basis the Gunners win every game after Sunday). Victory over Leicester would take them to 80 points, meaning victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday 3 May at Stamford Bridge would do it.

Chelsea remaining fixtures: Sunday April 26: Arsenal vs Chelsea; Wednesday April 29: Leicester City vs Chelsea; Sunday May 3: Chelsea vs Crystal Palace; Sunday May 10: Chelsea vs Liverpool; Monday May 18: West Brom vs Chelsea; Sunday May 24: Chelsea vs Sunderland
