Wolves held Manchester United to a 1-1 draw in a thrilling encounter at Molineux after Paul Pogba's penalty was palmed away by Rui Patricio.

After a tense start to the fixture, United took the lead courtesy of the flourishing link-up between Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial as the latter was played through a lashed a left-footed shot into the top corner.

However, moments after Raul Jimenez's header ricocheted off the inside of the post, Ruben Neves scored a sublime goal from 25 yards to draw the match level.

After withstanding a storm of pressure, Pogba danced through the Wolves defence and was brought down by Conor Coady. However, after usurping Marcus Rashford in the pecking order - despite the striker scoring from the spot last week - Pogba's powerful penalty was well saved by Patricio.

United poured on the pressure in the final ten minutes as they searched for an opening, however, Wolves' defence remained resolute to leave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ruing further dropped points at this ground.
