Balde doubtful for Hearts' visit

Celtic's Bobo Balde is doubtful with a knee injury for today's visit of Hearts in the Scottish Premier League. Alan Thompson and Joos Valgaeren are out with hamstring injuries but Jackie McNamara is back in contention. Hearts striker Mark de Vries is doubtful with a poisoned toe, Steven Pressley is fit but Ramon Pereira (ankle) is out.

Motherwell, in third place, host Rangers, in second, tomorrow with their defender David Cowan doubtful due to a thigh strain. Rangers manager Alex McLeish will still be without ankle-injury victim Alan Hutton plus Dragan Mladenovic, Alex Rae and Hamed Namouchi, have knee injuries.

Fourth-placed Aberdeen are without defender Russell Anderson (ankle) for the trip to Inverness but midfielder Chris Clark (hamstring) is fit.
