Hearts: Administration threat ends after debt paid
Hearts, who host Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League tomorrow night, confirmed yesterday that they have settled a tax debt after being threatened with administration by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.
Hearts announced a return to profitability for the first time in 11 years when they revealed their financial results earlier this year. The Edinburgh club revealed a profit of £39,000 in the year to 31 July 2010. The profit followed on from a loss of more than £8.5m for the previous period.
