Hearts yesterday announced their players had received their November salaries as the Professional Footballers' Association Scotland prepared to submit an official complaint over the matter to the Scottish Premier League.

With December's pay due today, Hearts yesterday declared last month's salary has now been paid – 29 days late. Meanwhile, representatives from the players' union met the first-team squad for talks.
