Arsenal are closing in on the signing of Dynamo Moscow striker Aleksandr Kokorin, according to reports.

Reports in Russia claim that the 24-year-old has been targeted by Arsene Wenger after missing out on Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema.

Benzema tweeted this week that he will not be leaving Real, dismissing media reports by writing: "For all those clowns who want to make believe things at my fans. Here this is my home ! #HalaMadridYNadaMas"

PSG and Zenit are also believed to be interested in the forward, who is yet to score more than 10 league goals in a single season.
