Hector Bellerin says transfer interest from former club Barcelona is “special”.

The Arsenal full-back only signed a lucrative new six-and-a-half-year deal with the Gunners back in November.

But that hasn’t stopped Barcelona continue their push to sign him again with several reports in Spain suggesting they are preparing to return for the 22-year-old this summer.

And when asked about whether a move back to the club he left back in 2011 appeals Bellerin spoke with admiration of his former home.

"It's nice there are a lot of big clubs that are interested in me, but if one of those is Barcelona that's special,” he told SPORT.

“I don't forget I grew up in that home and I will never forget my stay at Barcelona."

Bellerin did, however, reveal his disappointment with the Blaugrana was the reason he chose to turn his back on them nearly six years ago.

"I left Barcelona because I felt the club was not confident in me, I didn't feel valued, I was disenchanted."
