The rumour mill is back in overdrive as the Premier League nears the January transfer window and already a number of Arsenal’s players have been linked with potential moves away from the Emirates.

One such player, rather worryingly for Arsenal fans, is Mesut Ozil. According to reports from Marca, the German magician is keen on a return to Real Madrid as he continues to stall putting pen to paper on a new Arsenal deal.

It’s alleged that both him and former Bernabeu team-mate Angel di Maria regret leaving the Spanish capital.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak has caught the attention of the club, according to the Daily Express.

The Slovenian featured in the Champions League final last term for Atletico and has impressed with his performances this season so far.

It’s believed the club are searching for a long-term replacement for Petr Cech, who is now 34. But with an alleged £85m release clause, Oblak may not be the answer.

Arsenal’s Mathieu Debuchy has also been subject to interest from Ligue 1 side Marseille. The club have struggled for form this season and currently sit 12th in France’s top division.

According to France Football, the side are contemplating making a move for Debuchy as they look to get their season back on track.

Lastly, reports of a successor to Arsene Wenger have also surfaced. With the Frenchman out of contract at the end of the season, Arsenal bosses have been keeping a close check on Red Bull Leipzig coach Ralph Hasenhuttl, the Sun reports.

Arsenal will only renew the manager’s contract depending on how this year’s campaign unfolds and it’s believed the Gunners have been tracking Hasenhuttl’s progress for the past two years.
