Gary Megson has quietly gone about securing Bolton's Premier League status for another season and will want to strengthen ahead of next season to ensure another scare free term in England's top flight.

Kevin Nolan and Heidar Helguson were not replaced after their sale in January and Gary Cahill continues to stall on a new contract, meaning Megson has a few gaps to fill this summer.
