Chelsea full-back Cesar Azpilicueta is affectionately known as 'Dave' giving the tongue-twisting nature of his surname.

Things could get a whole lot more complicated at Stamford Bridge, however, with their latest signing Papy Djilobodji having a similarly tough name.

But that's not even his full name.

In all it's glory, that is: Papiss Mbouba Mbwiwa Abu Fuongo Baba Mison Djilobodji.

They better just stick to Papy.

The 6ft 4in centre-back, who has 12 caps for Senegal, has joined for a fee of £2.7million, having undergone a medical at Stamford Bridge on Monday - the deal will not affect Chelsea's desire to pursue Everton centre-back John Stones in the near future.

Djilobodji said: "I’m very happy to sign for a big club like Chelsea and I want to do my best to help the team win titles. I want to thank the club for giving me this opportunity."

The Blues also confirmed the exit of Victor Moses on loan to West Ham for the season, but announced that the winger has signed a new four-year deal at the club.
