Crystal Palace transfer news: Sunderland and West Brom rival Eagles for Steven Caulker
Palace has made a £4.5m offer but face competition from their Premier League rivals as well as Newcastle

Sunderland and West Brom have joined Crystal Palace in the Premier League race to sign Steven Caulker.
Palace have launched a move to land the QPR defender in a cut-price £4.5million deal.
But the Eagles - who have turned to Caulker after missing out on Brighton's Lewis Dunk - face top-flight competition for his signature.
Caulker, who has two years left on his £35,000-a-week wages, is free to leave Loftus Road for the right price.

QPR sent Caulker, 24, out on loan to Southampton and Liverpool this season but is this time wanting a permanent deal.
Newcastle are also monitoring Caulker's future as they look to beef up their defence following relegation.
The former Tottenham defender, who spent loan spells with Yeovil Town, Bristol City and Swansea City before leaving White Hart Lane in 2013 for Cardiff City, has one solitary England cap having not represented his country since 2012.
