Dani Alves switch to Manchester United in trouble; Arsenal to move for Schneiderlin, Cech and Subotic; Charlie Austin wanted

Manchester United have been linked with a move for Dani Alves, who will be out of contract in the summer, however it seems the Barcelona defender could be bound for PSG. According to Spanish publication Marca, the Brazil international has already agreed a £100,000-a-week, three-year deal with Chelsea's conquerers. The report comes just days after Alves' agent revealed his client was in talks with a club.

Whilst United might be set to miss out on Alves, they have been linked with both former captain Nemanja Vidic and Palermo striker Paulo Dybala.

Elsewhere, it's reported that Arsene Wenger will be given funds this summer to launch a spending spree that can see Arsenal compete for the Premier League title.

According to the Mirror Arsene Wenger has three major targets - Morgan Schneiderlin, Petr Cech and Neven Subotic.

Southampton midfielder Schneiderlin has long been linked with the Gunners and has expressed his interest in a move to the Emirates. Meanwhile, Petr Cech has been told he can leave Chelsea after being forced out of a regular place in goal by Thibault Courtois, however Jose Mourinho may have reservations about selling to a direct rival. According to the report, Subotic was watched by Arsenal's scouts last week.

Sami Khedira also remains on the Gunners radar and they will have been encouraged after the Real Madrid midfielder indicated he isn't 100 per cent sure he will join Schalke. "Am I open to Schalke?" said the World Cup winner. "I am open to many teams."

One of the season's surprise packages, Charlie Austin, is apparently wanted by Crystal Palace and Southampton. The English striker has been brilliant this season, picking up 15 goals. However his team have not been so impressive and QPR are under serious threat of relegation. If they go down, the chances of Austin moving will only increase.
