Everton transfer news: Roberto Martinez on the brink of signing Muhamed Besic
Toffees close in on another signing ahead of Thailand trip

Everton were closing in on the signing of Bosnia-Herzegovina star Muhamed Besic from Ferencvarosi as they flew out to Thailand for a pre-season friendly with Leicester City.
The two sides are set to meet at the King Power Stadium on the opening day of the Premier League season, but will meet on Sunday in Bangkok also.
The 21-year-old represented his country in every one of of his country's World Cup clashes this summer and has been a long-term target for Roberto Martinez.
After guiding the Toffees to fifth-place last season, the former Wigan Athletic coach is keen to strengthen further after signing Gareth Barry on a permanent basis earlier in the window.
Besic will not feature in the friendly against Nigel Pearson's side in Thailand, but is in the squad for the trip to Asia.
“The next few days will allow Mo to meet the players,” the Spaniard said.
“But more importantly it is an opportunity for him to get into optimum condition ahead of the new season.
“I am looking forward to introducing him to the Everton fans when we come back but first I would like to thank Ferencvaros for the way in which they have approached the negotiations.
“They have been very understanding at this point and we have enjoyed a good working relationship.”
