Henrikh Mkhitaryan has described his switch from Manchester United to Arsenal as a "dream come true".
The Armenian was confirmed as an Arsenal player on Monday evening as Alexis Sanchez completed his own move to Old Trafford.
Talks have been underway for the past week, with the terms and details of the player-swap finalised over the weekend.
Mkhitaryan, who joins Arsenal on a three-and-a-year contract, said he had always dreamed of joining the north London club.
On his move, Henrikh said: “I’m very happy that we could finish this deal and I’m very happy to be here. It’s a dream come true because I’ve always dreamed of playing for Arsenal.
"Now that I’m here, I’ll do my best for this club to create history.”
Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger added: “Henrikh is a very complete player. He creates chances, he defends well, he can absorb distances and he’s very committed as well.
"I must say he’s a player who has all the attributes.”
Mkhitaryan joins Arsenal after one-and-a-half years at United where he made 39 league appearances for the side.
