Ivan Perisic hands in transfer request after Arsenal offer rejected
Inter director Guiseppe Marotta confirmed that the winger is looking to leave the Italian club

Ivan Perisic has handed in a transfer request at Inter Milan after Arsenal's loan offer for the winger was rejected by the Italian club.
Inter director Guiseppe Marotta told Sky: “Perisic has asked to leave but there is no offer for him. We will see in the coming days.
“We will listen to the request of Perisic, he has put in a transfer request; we must try to satisfy him but also respect the value of him.”
According to reports, Arsenal proposed an initial loan deal for Perisic, with an option to buy for £34.5m, but Inter would rather a permanent sale.
Head coach Luciano Spalletti said: “It’s a player that has been talked about because everyone values him as much as we do, and if anyone wants to buy him they will need to pay him good money because we rate him a lot.”
Unai Emery has made clear Arsenal are only looking to make loan signings this January, having ruled out the possibility of making any permanent deals earlier this month.
Despite starting 14 of Inter Milan’s 20 Serie A games this season, Perisic has struggled to make an impact. In his 25 appearances across all competitions, the 29-year-old has registered just three goals and five assists.
