Steve Kean, the Blackburn manager, has admitted the club will now have to consider any bids for winger Junior Hoilett, who is out of contract in the summer.

The 21-year-old Canadian has stalled on several offers from Rovers and has attracted interest from Tottenham, as was first reported in The Independent.

Kean admits that the player holds all the cards. He said: "Any player does when it gets down to six months. What we have to do is to continue to be open and honest with Junior and say 'we want you to stay'. He has probably taken the opportunity to look elsewhere. If there is a bid that comes in then we would have to consider that, but no bids have."
