Radamel Falcao: Liverpool 'confident' of signing sought-after Monaco forward - reports
Liverpool have joined Manchester City and Real Madrid in bidding for the Colombian striker's services, according to reports

The protracted transfer saga of Radamel Falcao appeared to have taken another twist today, following reports that Liverpool are interested in signing the Monaco striker.
Real Madrid were thought to be ahead in the race for the former Atletico hitman - but the Gazzetta dello Sport revealed yesterday that Manuel Pellegrini is also keen on taking the Colombian to Manchester City on loan.
However, the tale may now have become more knotted following Liverpool's reported interest in the man who notched 52 strikes in just 68 games for Atletico Madrid during two seasons at the Vicente Calderon.
Respected Italian football journalist Mina Rzouki appeared to reveal in a series of Twitter posts that the Merseyside club are now leading the unevenly-paced trot for Falcao.
