Queens Park Rangers are close to the £1million signing of Liverpool left-back Jack Robinson, according to reports.
Robinson spent the entirety of last season on loan in the Championship with Blackpool and hasn't made a Liverpool appearance since January 2013.
The 20-year-old has been capped nine times by England Under-21 but was sent off three times last season.
Brendan Rodgers has brought in full backs Alberto Moreno and Javier Manquillo this summer and Robinson is unlikely to find a place in the side with Glen Johnson, Jon Flanagan and Luis Enrique also vying for first-team action.
QPR have suffered a bad start to the Premier League season, and have struggled defensively. Harry Redknapp has experimented with a 3-5-2 formation in his two games so far but abandoned it at half-time of the 4-0 defeat at former club Tottenham.
Armand Traore has been playing left-back and left wing-back but the Daily Mirror report Redknapp is prepared to make Robinson a permanent fixture in the team.
