Georginio Wijnaldum's name continues to be linked with Liverpool.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Jurgen Klopp could snare the Newcastle United midfielder if he agrees to let Lucas Leiva move the other way.

Rafael Benitez, Newcastle's manager, wishes to link up with the Brazilian again, having brought him to Anfield during his time in charge of Liverpool ten years ago.

In more manager-player reunion news, Jakub Blaszczykowski could be on his way to Anfied to join forces with Klopp again.

The Borussia Dortmund winger is linked by Der Westen, the German newspaper.

Atletico Madrid are sniffing around Divock Origi, the Liverpool striker, according to Bleacher Report.

Having looked a bit raw under Brendan Rodgers, Origi, 21, blossomed under Jurgen Klopp’s tutelage last season, scoring 10 goals in an injury-hit campaign.

Diego Simeone, Atletico’s head coach, is reportedly ready to turn his attentions to the Belgium international, having been frustrated in his pursuit of Chelsea’s Diego Costa.

Oh, and one bit of soon-to-be-confirmed business. Ragnar Klavan is expected to officially become a Liverpool player on Wednesday.

The Estonia international underwent a medical at Melwood, the club’s training ground, on Tuesday ahead of his £4.2m move from Augsburg.
