Manchester United are reportedly interested in a making a move for his Bayen Munich winger Arjen Robben, although it now appears a deal for his team-mate Toni Kroos is off.
According to The Guardian, incoming manager Louis van Gaal, who managed Kroos during his time at Bayern, has decided against signing the midfielder.
A player that could be on his way to United is Robben, with the Daily Mail reporting he is one of the United's main summer targets. The 30-year-old was also signed by Van Gaal, when he was at Bayern in 2009, and was an integral part of his team that won the domestic league and cup double in 2010.
The Dutch winger is currently preparing for the World Cup with Van Gaal, who will leave his post as Netherlands manager to join up at Old Trafford after the tournament.
The 30-year-old has proven Premier League experience after winning the title twice with Chelsea in 2005 and 2006 and will fit straight into the United XI as they aim to bounce back next term from this disastrous season, in which they finished in seventh place in the league and discarded manager David Moyes.
Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels and Southampton's Luke Shaw could also be on their way to United this summer as the rebuilding process continues.
