Manchester United target Christian Pulisic has refused to rule out a move to the Premier League in the future after admitting he is a “big fan” of the club.

The Independent reported last month that United were willing to strongly challenge rivals Liverpool if they went in for the American in the summer.

As well as being an excellent young player, the 19-year-old is wanted by the United hierarchy with the view of making his the USA’s first football megastar and reaping the rewards of all the commercial value that would bring.

And, should Pulisic decide to leave Dortmund, United would certainly be an option after he admitted he was a supporter of the Old Trafford club in his youth.

“Yeah, I was. I was definitely a big fan,” he told ESPN. “Of course, right now I am under contract with Dortmund and I'm not looking around or doing anything like that so I'm very focused there. But, yeah, it's cool to hear all this stuff!

“Of course, the Premier League is an unbelievable league. You never know in football what can happen, so right now, I'm focused with Dortmund, and yeah, that's that.”

Pulisic is contracted to Borussia Dortmund until 2020.
