Manchester United and City ‘in talks’ with Kai Havertz over move from Bayer Leverkusen
The Manchester rivals both hope to sign the Germany international

Manchester United and Manchester City are both in talks with Bayer Leverkusen over 20-year-old winger Kai Havertz, according to reports in Germany.
The Germany international became Leverkusen’s youngest ever Bundesliga debutant and goal scorer and has gone on to become an influential player for club and country.
And now German newspaper Bild report that both Manchester clubs have held ‘concrete talks’ with Havertz’s representatives.
However, Havertz is unlikely to come cheap.
Other reports in Germany have suggested Leverkusen will demand up to £111m for Havertz, who joined the club in 2010 at the age of 11.
He enjoyed a particularly prolific 2018/19 campaign, scoring 20 goals in all competitions as Leverkusen finished fourth in the Bundesliga.
