Eden Hazard has ruled out the possibility of joining Manchester United if Zinedine Zidane takes the permanent manager’s job at Old Trafford.

Hazard’s future at Chelsea continues to be subject to great speculation, with Real Madrid understood to be among his suitors, and the Belgian has previously described playing under Zidane as “a dream”.

Zidane stepped down Madrid’s head coach last summer and has since been linked with United, but Hazard is tempted to “try something different” once his time at Chelsea is up.

“I have never heard from [Zinedine] Zidane and if he goes to Manchester United tomorrow, for example, I would not be there,” he told France Football. “Real Madrid without Zidane is different, but it is still Real Madrid.

“I’ve won everything in England, except the Community Shield, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to leave.

“I’ve always said that I want to try something different after England, but there are things that might make me stay.”

Elsewhere, reports in Portugal have linked United with a move for Joao Felix, the young Benfica forward.

According to Record, the 19-year-old forward is also the subject of interest from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Barcelona.

United are said to be closely watching Felix, who is enjoying a breakthrough season at Benfica, scoring six goals in his 18 appearances so far.

Meanwhile, The Sun reports that Paul Pogba is ready to hold contract talks with United following his resurgence in form.

Pogba was persistently linked with a move away from Old Trafford earlier this season after a breakdown in relations with manager Jose Mourinho.

However, since Mourinho’s dismissal last month, the midfielder appears to be enjoying life at United again and is reportedly ready to open talks over new terms.
