Mino Raiola has become something of a sticking point in the Pogba transfer

Paul Pogba’s move to Manchester United is being held by a disagreement over who pays Mino Raiola’s agent fees, according to reports.

Raiola has been negotiating the France international’s move so far this summer and is expected to earn £25m from the deal, the Sun claims.

United and Raiola are happy for both clubs to pay £12.5m but the Serie A giants are allegedly refusing to pay Pogba’s agent a penny.

The Italians are understood to be angry at the manner in which Raiola has conducted himself throughout the negotiations and believe he has engineered the deal for his own gain.

With the world-record transfer hanging in the balance, Raiola’s fee was always going to be a potential sticking point for those involved in the deal.

This isn’t the first time Raiola has complicated matters though. The larger-than-life figure delivered a recent outburst to the Italian press when he said: “I don’t give a damn about record transfer fees.

“The newspapers write that Pogba could set the record, but I’ve already set records with Ibrahimovic and [Pavel] Nedved.

“I want the best for my players, and therefore for Pogba too. I don’t answer to anyone, and I don’t speak about my business.

“Certain things I only discuss with my clients, and they know how things are.”

However, it seems the on-going Paul Pogba saga appears to be taking its toll on the Italians who seem to be growing tired of Raiola’s antics.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri was so fed up about the Pogba story that he refused to answer any questions regarding the transfer during his side’s pre-season tour of Australia.

“I am not going to talk about the transfer market news,” he said.
