Manchester United transfer news: Paul Pogba ready to leave club for ‘new challenge somewhere else’
Pogba is wanted by Real Madrid and Juventus
Paul Pogba has revealed he is ready to leave Manchester United for a “new challenge somewhere else.”
The French midfielder is a Real Madrid transfer target and has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu to work with Zinedine Zidane.
Another option is a return to Juventus, who are closely monitoring his situation as they weigh up whether to try and bring him back to Turin.
Pogba joined United from the Italian champions in 2016 for a then-record £89m and is now considering a move away from the club he joined as a youth player in 2009.
"After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well... I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else," Pogba told reporters in Tokyo.
"I am thinking of this: to have a new challenge somewhere else."
"For me I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.

"Like you said, there is a lot of talking and a lot of thinking as well," he added.
The 26-year-old was regularly criticised for his performances last season and fell out of favour with Jose Mourinho shortly before the Portuguese manager was sacked.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s appointment gave Pogba a new lease of life and he played his way into the PFA Premier League team of the year but tailed off, like the entire United side, towards the end of the season.
