Steve McClaren has signed 35-year-old midfielder George Boateng, who played under him at Middlesbrough, on a free transfer.

Boateng follows Andy Reid and Jonathan Greening into the City Ground. McClaren has also added the former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink to his coaching staff.
