Manchester United are one of three clubs said to be chasing a move for Robert Lewandowski in the summer, according to reports in Spain.
The Bayern Munich striker has been sensational this season, scoring 23 goals in 25 competitions for Pep Guardiola's team, who are already eight points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo have reported that United are one of three European giants who hold a huge interest in the 27-year-old Polish striker.
They report that United want to make Lewandowski a 'cornerstone' on which to build a new look team, with Louis van Gaal failing to sign an established superstar during his £250million tenure.
Paris Saint-Germain are also very keen on Lewandowski, especially with Zlatan Ibrahimovic seemingly set on leaving the French capital with a move to Major League Soccer on the cards.
Real Madrid are also linked, with the futures of Karim Benzema, after the Mathieu Valbuena sex case, and Cristiano Ronaldo unclear.
