Real Madrid have delivered a message of intent to Manchester United over their desire to keep Sergio Ramos, by placing the Spain international in a promo-advert for their new kit.

The defender has been the subject of a bid from Manchester United already and Louis van Gaal is determined to sign the 29-year-old this summer.

Real Madrid rejected the offer and do not want Ramos to leave the club. However, their desire to sign David De Gea from United complicates matters, with an acceptance they may have to let their vice-captain depart in order to sign the goalkeeper.

But in the meantime, Real Madrid have made clear that for now Ramos remains theirs and that a future for him at the Bernabeu is possible by placing him in an advert alongside Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo, James Rodriguez and Karim Benzema.

The promo is for Real Madrid's new home kit.
