England Under-21 international Tom Davies has signed a new four-year deal with Everton, the Premier League club have announced.

The 20-year-old made his Premier League debut three years ago and became Everton's youngest captain this season.

A statement on the club's website read: "Tom Davies has signed a new four-year contract which will keep him at Everton until the end of June 2023.

"The England Under-21 international midfielder, who turns 21 in June, became Everton's youngest captain when he led the Blues in a Carabao Cup tie in August 2018.

"Davies has skippered Everton on five further occasions this season, including in Premier League victories over Leicester and Fulham."

He made his first-team debut in a home Premier League draw against Southampton in 2016 and has made a total of 19 appearances in all competitions for Marco Silva's side this season.
