Transfer latest: Nicklas Bendtner's move to Eintracht Frankfurt could be off due to Arsenal striker's wage demands
The 25-year-old was in Germany on Tuesday to finalise the deal, but he could return to London after negotiations all through

Nicklas Bendtner’s proposed move to Eintracht Frankfurt could be off after chairman Heribert Bruchhagen cast his doubt on signing the Arsenal striker.
Bendtner has been in talks over a move to the Commerzbank-Arena after the club confirmed that the Dane was in Germany on Tuesday to finalise a deal.
However, the forward’s wage demands appear to have hindered the transfer, and the move may now be off as Frankfurt consider whether they can afford the switch.
Bruchhagen told kicker.de: "After weighing up all the arguments, Bendtner turned out not to be a realistic prospect.
"Now it's up to us. There are no problems with Arsenal. We have to see if it's financially viable."
The 25-year-old spent last season on-loan with Serie A champions Juventus, but he failed to score a single goal during his time in Italy and they chose not to make the deal permanent.
