Juventus and Arsenal are reportedly interested in the Sheffield United striker Diego De Girolamo.
De Girolamo was born in Chesterfield but has played for Italy at both Under-18 and Under-19 level as his father is Italian.
The 18-year-old decided to represent Italy at youth level after Arrigo Sacchi, the legendary Milan coach, rang him up with a personal plea to play for the Azzurri.
De Girolamo, who could yet play for England, has been reportedly recommended to the Serie A leaders Juventus by Italian scouts, who watched him score in recent friendly against Germany. He has also been watched by scouts from the Gunners.
