Barcelona's Luis Suarez is a shock summer transfer target for Arsenal, according to The Sun.

The report claims that the Uruguayan striker, who was the subject of that £40m plus £1 bid back in 2013, is Arsene Wenger's No 1 choice.

Suarez is yet to show the phenomenal form he showed showed during his time at Liverpool at Barca, having scored only five goals in 16 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish giants.

Liverpool are set to complete the £14m deal for Ezequiel Lavezzi before Monday's transfer deadline, according to the Daily Express.

Ezezquiel Lavezzi has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool

The Argentinian forward is currently out of favour at PSG, having fallen out with manager Laurent Blanc.

The Reds had been interested in the 29-year-old last summer.

While Lavezzi could be on his way in to Anfield, Raheem Sterling could be on his way out, according to the Daily Star.

The La Liga side are reportedly weighing up a £50m bid for the England international, who recently turned down a new contract with the club.

Despite the transfer of Krystian Bielik and the imminent signing of Gabriel Paulista, Arsenal could still make another signing in this transfer window, with the Gunners reportedly watching Empoli defender Daniele Rugani.

Real Madrid are also believed to be interested in the 20-year-old, who is co-owned by Empoli and Juventus.

The saga of Juan Cuadrado to Chelsea could soon be over. The Blues are in talks to sign the 26-year-old, but have yet to agree a fee for the defender, according to the Evening Standard.

Wolfsburg, meanwhile, have denied any interest in Chelsea winger Andre Schurrle, despite repeated links with a potential January bid.

"A very clear no," the club's sporting executive Klaus Allofstold Bild when quizzed about Wolfsburg’s reported interest.
