Reports in Russia have suggested the CSKA Moscow winger Yuri Zhirkov has flown to London to undergo a medical at Chelsea. The 25-year-old Russian is thought to be costing the Blues £18m.

Gray on trail with Blades

The Fulham winger Julian Gray has joined Sheffield United on trial. The 29-year-old will join up with the Blades squad for pre season next week. Gray will be hoping to make United the seventh club of his career after reportedly turning down an offer to stay at Craven Cottage.
