Manchester United outcast Victor Valdes was not invited to the club's Unicef Gala Dinner, his wife Yolanda Cardona has claimed.
All of United's first-team squad turned up for the event - which raised £230,000 for charity - but the goalkeeper was not in attendance.
In a post on Instagram, alongside a picture of the Spanish-speaking table which featured Juan Mata, Marco Rojo, Sergio Romero, David De Gea, Ander Herrera and their partners, Cardona wrote:
“Do not invite to my husband @vicvaldes1 to be part of the #united4unicef , its the last thing you don’t expect from one of the biggest club as @manchesterunited “A Charity event, its always a Charity event”
The former Barcelona man Valdes has endured a woeful time at United since joining on a free last January, and is expected to leave the club in the next transfer window.

Earlier this summer, it had been reported that Valdes had refused to train with the reserves by United Louis van Gaal, a claim which Valdes has denied. He has not been allocated a squad number yet this season.
