Manchester United confirmed they would not take up the option to buy Monaco striker Radamel Falcao.

After just one loan season at Old Trafford - which cost the club a £6million loan fee and around £265,000-a-week in wages - the club announced they would be sending the Colombian flop back to Monaco.

With the option reported to cost around €50m, it's no surprise Louis van Gaal said no after just four goals.

But still only 29, plenty of clubs will be willing to take a punt on the striker who was arguably Europe's best before a terrible knee injury in January 2014.

Here we look where he could be playing next season (in no order):
